Barry Grindell of West Yarmouth left this world peacefully on March 13, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Barry was born on June 2,1941 in Brockton MA, the son of the late Wilbur and Dorothy (Woodard) Grindell. Barry was pre-deceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Burke, and his second wife, Patricia Thatcher.

He leaves behind; seven children, Brian, Kevin, Michael and Ray Grindell, Susan Murphy, Ellen Eldredge and Lisa Stowe, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings, David, Paul, and Lloyd Grindell and Jean Giles-Sims.

Barry loved working with wood and was extremely gifted. He was widely known for his expertise with installation of hardwood floors

Services are private.  A celebration of his life will be  held at a later date.

I am terribly sorry to hear of Barry's passing. He was a fine man, a hard worker, and so very humble. We send our sincere condolences to all of the Grindells, especially his siblings (my cousins)and children. Ginny and Joe O'Kelly
