Carmela A. “Molly” (Scola) Carbone 96 of South Yarmouth died Saturday February 27, 2021 at the Mill Hill Residence in West Yarmouth.
She was the wife of the late Edward C. Carbone who died in 1991.
Born in Fitchburg, Molly was the daughter of the late Anthony and Donata (Chiauzzi) Scola.
A longtime resident of Cape Cod, Molly worked as a realtor for over 30 years and was an active member of the choir at Saint Pius X Church in South Yarmouth.
Whether it was the winter trips she took to Florida with her brother and sisters or visits from her grandchildren, Molly loved spending time with her family. Molly was also an avid Boston Celtics fan.
Molly is survived by two sons, Randall A. Carbone and his wife, Patricia of Alexandria, VA, and Jeffrey A. Carbone and his wife, Diane of Winchester; a brother, Joseph Scola of Leominster; two sisters, Rita Czarkowski of Newington, CT, and Mary Morongell of Belvidere, NJ; five grandchildren, Preston, Ainsley, Haleigh, Ted, and Drew; and ten nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Molly was predeceased by her son, Steven.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday March 4 in Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
Interment will follow in Ancient Cemetery, Ancient Way, Yarmouth Port.

Randy and Jeff, Sorry to hear of your Mother's passing -- 96! I loved her -- she was the BEST neighbor I ever had. I lived across the street from your home.
