YARMOUTH PORT - Leonard Thomas Kerwin, 89 of Yarmouth Port, loving husband and father of three, died at his home Thursday December 31, 2020.

He was the husband of Jeanne H. (O’Connor). They had been married for 64 years.

Born, raised and educated in Malden, Len was the son of the late Edward and Marie (Feltrup) Kerwin. A graduate of Malden Vocational High School and Cape Cod Community College, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served our country for twenty years, including the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1970.

Len has been a resident of Cape Cod since 1970, where he served as facilities manager at the Marconi Site for the National Park Service in South Wellfleet.

Len was passionate about family, his Catholic religion, and reading. He was a lay Eucharistic Minister for over twenty years. He was also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

An amazing storyteller, Len would entertain his family for hours with tales of his childhood adventures and world travels. He doted on his family and was known for his patience, kindness, and ability to connect with children of all ages.
