Scott N. DuVerger 50 of West Yarmouth died Friday August 21, 2020.
Born in Hyannis, Scott was the son of Florence C. (Bertone) DuVerger and the late Robert P. DuVerger.
Scott worked as a manager at Cape Cod Ice Company for 24 years.
He was an avid New England sports fan, especially of the Bruins and Patriots. He was also an avid snowmobiler.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by three brothers, Robert P. DuVerger, Jr. and his wife, Sharen, Dennis J. DuVerger, and Dean Evans; three nephews, Cody DuVerger, Zachery DuVerger and his wife, Shelly, and Cole DuVerger; two nieces, Jennifer Nachez and her husband, Joe, and Caila DuVerger and her wife, Kelsey; three grand nieces and nephews, Cruz Nachez, and Dominic and Addison DuVerger; and several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life for Scott will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday Sept. 12, 2020 at Flax Pond, South Yarmouth.

Just found out about Scott’s passing. It’s so sad. I remember the stories about his son, Charlie. I worked with Scott at CCI in Sandwich. He never seemed the same after his accident at CAPE COD ICE. But he was too good of a guy to address at the time. So sorry to his family.
