Lil, Chris, and Paul, we are thinking of you and the many happy memories we have shared. Our sympathies are with you.
I spent a lot of time visiting when I was young with my Aunt Fran. A lot of wonderful memories were had with Uncle Gene ones I will never forget. A lot of laughter. One of the sayings he had when I would call them from Canada was “ it’s so good to hear your voice “ thanks for the memories Uncle Gene
Dear Family of Gene, Please except my deepest sympathy at the passing of your wonderful husband and father. I had the pleasure of working with Gene at the Longfellow Scool back in the 70s and as a newer staff member he was very friendly and encouraging. I also remember he always had that great smile. May your memories of this wonderful man comfort you at this time.
My deepest condolences to the Zubrinski family. I've worked many games and had a few beers with my uncle Gene. He wasn't my real uncle, but he had the respect and proper lineage to be my real uncle. We also played golf together a few times and I never could beat him. Again, I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
You made a personal and educational impact on me in the 6th grade that still crosses my mind to this day. You were a true leader and outstanding member of the communities that were lucky to have graced your presence. You will be missed, Mr. Z. Rest in peace. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss, Rusty and I just drove through the old neighborhood 2 weeks ago, and where thinking of your family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time Kathy Nicholson Fullerton and Rusty Fullerton

Loving prayers and sincere condolences for Lillian and the entire Zubrinski family. I was a student at the Longfellow School in the 1950s and Mr. Zubrinski was my math teacher and football coach (Go Purples!) I loved his upbeat enthusiasm and energy. He was a great teacher and an even better man.

I was so saddened to read in today’s Globe of the passing of one of my favorite teachers at Longfellow school. Mr Z was also one of my favorite coaches. I was always happy to go to his class. Mr. Zubrinski was my 6th grade teacher at the Henry Wardsworth Longellow grammar school in Cambridge for the 1957-58 school year. I remember him very fondly and an energetic man who loved engaging his students. His standard disciplinary practice was "page 50," meaning that the offending student had to copy page 50 from our desk dictionary in longhand. My sincere condolences go out to his family.
My deepest condolences to Aunt Lil, Cris and Paul. He was a wonderful man and terrific uncle.
My deepest sympathies to Auntie Lil, Chrissy and Paul. My childhood holiday memories are filled with many happy and colorful images of you all. Zubie was one of a kind. May he Rest In Peace.
