Mary was the devoted mother of five children. Her family meant everything to her. She tirelessly served her family and devoted herself to their well-being. Mary worked very hard both in the home and outside the home in order to care for her family. She was indeed the anchor of the family.
Mary enjoyed family get-togethers, and especially loved having children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren around for family events. Holding a new grandchild or great-grandchild on her lap was a special treat that brought great joy.
Mary was a “wash-ashore”, coming from Connecticut in 1951. She lived in Harwich from 1951 on, and has a great love for Cape Cod and Harwich.
