Mary Frances (Drummey) Browne of Norwood and formerly of Dennis, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2019. She was 95. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Richard “Dick” Browne on the same date in 1973.

Mary was born and raised in Norwood, MA in a big Irish-American family. She was employed as an administrative secretary. Her greatest accomplishment, however, was being a devoted Mom. She enjoyed all things Irish, angels, fashion, music and dancing, Ted Williams and Elvis. Most of all she loved her faith and her family.

Mary leaves behind her “one and only” daughter, Maryanne Browne, of Dennis, and a nephew, Frank Brueggeman of Boca Raton, FL, who was like a son to her. She is also survived by her nieces, Gail Morrissey of Fall River, MA, Joyce Steele of South Berwick, ME, and Debbie Musco of Orange, CT and a cousin, Peg Abbate of Westwood, MA. She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis Drummey and Jack Drummey and sisters, Helen Brueggeman and Loretta Wragg. Just recently deceased is her niece, Nancy Brueggeman

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.in Saint Pius X Church, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth, MA. Family and friends are all welcome. Interment will be private.

Mary will be dearly missed and forever loved.
