South Yarmouth – John F. Kelly, 91, of South Yarmouth died on May 2, 2019 at Cape Cod Hospital. Born in Cambridge, he was of 16 children of the late Harry and Emily (McDermott) Kelly. John was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy, and worked at Raytheon for 42 years.

John always had a positive attitude no matter what.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his children: Barbara (Paul) Aufiero, Matthew Kelly, Daniel Kelly, and Yvonne (Bob) Whittemore; 7 grandchildren Nicholas, Michael, Jenna, Katie, Kevin, Nicole and Bobby; sister Jean. John was predeceased by his two wives Marion (Lord) Kelly, and Diane (Coppus) Kelly; two sons Joey Kelly and Kevin Kelly.

A committal service with U.S. Navy honors will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
