On December 10, 2018, Jamie D. Sorensen passed away suddenly at the age of 59, in South Yarmouth at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Worcester to Richard and Diana (Williams)Sorensen, and raised in Northboro, MA.

Jamie was the loving and devoted husband of Donna (Joyce) Sorensen for 40 years. He was the best Dad anyone could ask for. He raised three children; Jacqueline Sorensen, Richard Sorensen and the late Jessica Sorensen, four grandchildren; Zachoree Sorensen, Christopher Polack, Patrick Polack and Autumn Bowman. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Layla Sorensen and great grandson, Theo Tsoukalas. He was predeceased by his grandson, Jamie Sorensen.

He was a brother, a best friend and a caring man who worked hard to provide for his family. His door was always open to anyone. He will be missed by many

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Redemption Rock Church, 195 Meeting House Rd., South Chatham, MA on Saturday, December 15 at 11:30 a.m..

Jamie will be greatly missed. I am honored to have gotten to know him over the past 10 years. A true family man. He would always tell me how his grandkids would brighten up his day whenever he got home. I am very sorry they have lost a great man.
