Deborah E. Reade-Kochka 52 of Yarmouth Port died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday November 27, 2018.
She was the loving wife of Donald V. Kochka Jr. They had just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
Born in Boston, Deborah is the daughter of William F. Jr. and M. Joanna (Crosby) Reade of Yarmouth.
Deborah might be best remembered by her annual Memorial Day gathering, attended by people from all over the world she had enveloped in her friendship and affection.
She was an entrepreneur who had founded several businesses and was in the process of establishing a benefit corporation that supported veterans.
With seemingly unlimited energy, she was a tireless volunteer, always putting others before herself. A woman of accomplishment, Deborah lead by example. She worked with a focused determination to obtain her bachelors degree in organizational management.
Deborah will leave an unfillable hole in the lives of those she touched.
In addition to her husband and parents, Deborah is survived by two daughters, Michaela of Yarmouth and Ketryn of Worcester; and a sister, Donna Nielsen of Stoughton.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday December 6 in Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
Interment will be private.
Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 5 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
