Kathleen Mae (Andrews) Lavache, 86, of Dennis died peacefully at the Wingate Nursing Facility surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday January 24, 2018. Known by most as Lolly, she was the wife of 62 years to her surviving husband Robert A. Lavache. Born and raised in Lowell, she was the daughter of late Harold W. Andrews and Ella M. (Fitzner) Andrews. Her late siblings include brothers Harold and Gerald Andrews and her sister Marilyn. She is survived by her younger brother Wayne Andrews of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Lolly worked in Washington, D.C. for two years after graduating high school. She met her husband Robert at Craigsville Beach in the summer of 1955. They were married within a year on July 21, 1956 in Boston. Kathleen (Lolly) and her husband moved to Lowell where they had their first two daughters Susan M. Lavache and Kathleen A. Lavache. Soon after, they moved to Redondo Beach, California where their son Christopher Lavache was born. Within a few years, back on the East Coast in Bristol Connecticut, third daughter Roberta Farina was born. Crossing the continent again to Sacramento California, fourth daughter Mary Ellen Boles was born, and finally fifth daughter Amy M. Fagan was born in Burlington Massachusetts. The proud grandmother of seven grandchildren - Derek, Laura and Christopher Sorensen, Anthony and Dana Farina, Liam Fagan, Haley Lavache, Jillian Thompane and Chelsey and Jesse Hill. Great grandchildren Tanner and Boone Thompane. When you talk about Lolly, you would have to talk about her love for conversation with an unending sense of humor. With six young children, she started an adults ceramics class in her basement and taught ceramics, “chatting” sessions on a weekly basis for many years. She brought the neighborhood mothers together like nobody else could. She considered herself a “Domestic Engineer” having five children under seven years old at one time and the youngest several years later. She worked as a part time editor for a local church in Burlington. She was always friendly and willing to strike up a conversation. She had great wit and shared her great sense of humor to the very end. After spending over 30 years in Burlington, they moved to Yarmouth Port, Cape Cod where they attempted to eat at every restaurant on the Cape. Enjoying new friends, Bingo and winters in Myrtle Beach, she lived her dream retirement with her loving husband along with her older brother Gerald who lived close by for many years With that we say goodbye to Kathleen (Lolly) Lavache… Wife, Mother, Mamma and Friend. We Love You… Happy New Life Mom. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday February 2, 2018 at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth, MA from: 2:00 PM To 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday February 3, at 11am at the Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouth, MA.

Lolly too was one of my friend at the Dennis Senior Center where she would arrive early and save our seats for us. Cheerful always and as you say the never ending conversations of good will and friendship. Eating out we enjoyed some good restaurants with her and attended many co1ncerts and shows. Rest in peace Lolly. You were a good friend to us all

Mom, I love you with all my heart. Not a day goes by without me thinking of your great laugh, silly sense of humor, and your caring and loving attitude to both family and friends. I am so proud to be your daughter.
