Grampa Brown, I am sorry that we never had an opportunity to have a relationship, but you came to Maddie's first birthday, and I came to your services. A beginning and an end to a story that never got a chance to right the in between. Ostensibly, you would be 100 this year, but you didn't reveal your Month and Day which I suspect had to do with how quickly you enrolled to serve our country after high school. I wanted to become a Blue Angel, but I am only 4'11", Dad (Roger) took us to the Otis Air Show every year they had it, and that we would go. I didn't know the depth of your service, but you had showed up proudly wearing a WWII Veteran hat to Maddie's Birthday. I want you to know that I am doing what I can to raise awareness for Veterans and their sacrifice, so while I didn't serve, I hope you are proud. Peace be with you, Heather
