Thomas E. Swedlund 77 of South Yarmouth died Thursday November 16, 2017 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.

Born in Pine City, MN, Tom was the faithful son of the late Chester and Blanche (Vick) Swedlund. He was a quiet man who loved to read and had a passion for vintage cars.

He was the dedicated and loving husband of Connie J. (Ward) Swedlund for 40 years. In addition, he was the “Best Dad” to Susan, Sondra, and Tommy; always cool and super fun grandpa (aka Pops) to Alex, Bre, Myranda, Aidan and Olivia; great grandpa to Lillian; brother of Richard; and fun-loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. Family was everything, from distant cousins to loved additions. You had such a great impact on our lives, we will be at a loss without you. We are missing you already...We will love you always!

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday November 21 in the South Yarmouth United Methodist Church, 322 Old Main St., South Yarmouth.

Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery, Summer St., Yarmouth Port.

Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday November 20 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
