COLLYER - Patricia M. 81 of West Yarmouth peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis Monday, June 19, 2017.

Patricia was the beloved wife of John P. Collyer. Together they shared a bond of unconditional love for one another for over thirty plus years.

She was the loving, proud mother and step-mother to ten children, twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Far too many to mention by name, but was loved by all. In addition, Patricia leaves behind her sister in-law, Linda (Collyer) Heath and her husband, Michael. She was predeceased by her brother in-law, Kenneth Collyer.

Patricia, and her husband, also adopted five additional "children", their dogs, which gave her much joy. Together, they shared the love for their dog, Molly. In addition, Kinder, Danny, Saul and Murphy, which have since passed, are likely being pampered by Patricia today.

Aside from her being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was quite entertaining with her quick witted sense of humor which at times could even make a sailor blush. She enjoyed riding shotgun with her husband, John, on their motorcycle, the smell of the ocean and sailing with John, her one and only sailor.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held in a private setting among immediate family.
