Grace P. Theoharidis
May 22nd, 2017
Grace (Evdoxia) (Nikiforakis) Theoharidis, 48, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2017 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich. Born on September 11, 1968 in Worcester, MA she was the daughter of Elisabeth (Veta) and Michael Nikiforakis, both of whom preceded her in death. In 2004, she was married to Dennis Theoharidis at Saint Spryiridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Worcester.
Grace is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis Theoharidis; three sons, Dennis, Michael and Andrew and large family including her brother and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Grace grew up in Worcester, graduated from Bentley College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and attended Quinsigamond Community College where she received her certificate in radiology. She was employed by area hospitals and healthcare centers, most recently as a CT technologist by Cape Cod Hospital.
Grace enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She centered her life around her sons who were her pride and joy, staying involved in their academic and extra-curricular activities. Her days off were spent volunteering at Ezra H. Baker elementary school where she was loved by children, teachers, and administrators alike. She enjoyed attending her sons’ Boy Scout events and made many friends there. As a devoted steward of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Centerville, she served as a Sunday School teacher, led many fund raisers for her church, and was President of the PTO.
Grace’s generosity of spirit touched many lives. She was loved and appreciated for her willingness to reach out and support those in need of help. She gave freely of her time and energy and her contagious smile was a gift to those around her.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Cape Cod Hospital, Maplewood at Mayflower Place, and the McCarthy Care Center who treated Grace with kindness, generous loving care and compassion throughout her illness.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Monday, May 29, 2017 from 4-7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1130 Falmouth Rd, Centerville, MA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the youth programs at St. George Greek Orthodox Church.

So sorry I wasn't there . I remember Grace as a beautiful woman who made me feel at ease as a new employee at Cape Cod. She invited me to Greece, I wish I would have taken her up on her offer. A beautiful woman, I am sad to hear of her passing. To her family remember God is....she is no longer in pain. May God keep And blessed you.
I would like to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to your family. Sincerely, Walt
