Judy Keith 64 of South Yarmouth died Wednesday January 11, 2017.
Born Framingham, Judy was the daughter of Sylvia (Hoppin) Keith of West Yarmouth and the late Albert M. Keith, who died in 1987. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Husson University in Bangor, ME.
Judy worked as a human resources administrator for the federal government in Washington, DC and for the S.D. Warren Paper Mill in Westbrook, ME.
In the early 1990’s, Judy moved to Cape Cod and began her own human resources consulting business. Just prior to her retirement she worked as a counselor for Living Independent Forever, (LIFE) in Hyannis.
Judy enjoyed volunteering at the Yarmouth Senior Center, and she had recently completed a course with the Yarmouth Police Department to participate in the neighborhood crime watch program.
Judy had a great sense of humor, loved playing games and she enjoyed engaging in fun trivia. She was passionate about the community and loved helping people. She will be remembered fondly for her sweet treats that she affectionately made for the local firefighters, EMTs, her friends at the Senior Center, and the folks she met at Mayflower Place Assisted Living in West Yarmouth, where her Mother, Sylvia, has been a resident for the past 5 years.
In addition to her mother, Judy is survived by a sister, Sue Meacham and her husband, Mark; two nephews, Brian Cristman and his wife, Lisa and Adam Cristman and his wife, Sue; three great nieces, Samantha Ciukaj and her husband, Christopher, and Kiley and MacKenzie Cristman.
