Mary Mumford and family, I was so sad to hear that Amos had passed away. I met Amos at Liberty Commons. My father, Martin "Bud" Doyle, he befriended while at Liberty Commons. Amos would always watch out for our Dad, and ask for him every time we would go for a visit. He was such a pleasant man. I would always enjoy visits and talking with him. We talked about his art work and got to see some of his pieces and about my father being a fisherman. I also paint and love art. My Dad passed away on Dec. 28, 2016, peacefully at Liberty Commons. I had gone in to get some of my fathers belongings and had asked for Amos. So shocked and saddened when I heard the news. I wanted to go and do some art with Amos . I pray that God would bring comfort to all of you at this time. Always treasure the special moments you shared. God bless your family. Kelly Zicko, Bud Doyles' daughter.

Uncle Amos was my beacon, my role model, my guiding light. He showed me that a kid who could draw, was a kid who could see the world in a way no one else could. I followed him into advertising and I hope to follow him, more than I have, into fine art. I will also never forget his first wife, Diane, who my mother loved as her best friend, and who had my cheekbones, before me!

I'm really sorry to hear about your father's loss. You all have been a really big part of my family and, although I didn't know Amos very well, I felt like I knew him through you guys. Plus we had that beautiful painting he had done of our house. Such a talented man. My heartfelt condolences. -- Mike

It was an honor to know Amos and to work with him. Very talented artist who did transformational work for the Chatham A's by professionalizing our annual program book. A better product brought in more funds for the organization. Amos was a passionate baseball fan and remained loyal to the N.Y./San Francisco Giants from his youth to his last days on Cape Cod. With his quick sense of humor, he always brought fun to our board meetings. Rest in peace Amos and condolences to Mary and the Mumford Family.

Mary and Family: I am so sorry to hear of Amos's passing. Amos, Peter Troy and I worked on the Chatham A's souvenir book for nearly 20 years. I loved every minute of it and he was as much a teacher as an artist. Amos and I became friends at Veteran's Field. He was a great story teller with a phenomenal memory. He was one of those people who made your life better for knowing him. Rest in Peace my friend. Bob Sherman
