Edward F. Doyle, 81 of West Dennis and St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Arlington, passed away at home with his family by his side on November 15, 2016. Eddie was born in Boston and raised in Cambridge. He graduated from St. John's High School in Cambridge and attended Suffolk University. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was the past owner of Edward F. Doyle Adjusters & Surveyors. He retired from The Hartford Insurance Co. and was a member of SAE Engineering Society, The Knights of Columbus and The American Legion. Eddie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Pat (Beggan) Doyle and his daughters and their husbands, Patricia and Lanning Levine and their children: Dylan, Ethan and Max; Kathleen and Joseph Dello Russo and their children: Joey, Corey and Jennifer and Colleen and Ricky Guido and their children: Olivia and Brittany; his brother Daniel and his sister in law Jacqueline Doyle, wife of his late brother Bernard and many nieces and nephews. Eddie was a snowbird in his retirement who enjoyed many enjoyable hours playing golf and billiards with friends on the Cape and in St. Petersburg, FL. Ed was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend who lived a good life and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave. Yarmouth, MA on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Rte. 134, S. Dennis, MA.
