Susan S. (Robinson) Cahoon of South Dennis, Massachusetts died on November 9, 2016  at Kindred Transitional Care And Rehabilitation -t Eagle Pond.

Born in Holden, Massachusetts in 1946, the second daughter of Joseph B. and Mary (Thresher) Robinson, she attended local schools until age 16 when the family moved to Pennsylvania.  Following her graduation in 1964 from Butler Area Senior High School in Butler, Pennsylvania she moved to Cape Cod.  After earning a Certified Nursing Certificate she worked at Eagle Pond in South Dennis for 15 years followed by years of local private duty cases as a CNA. She loved and knew Cape Cod very well enabling her to drive a taxi in retirement, between bingo games, and was always ready for her wider travels.

She joins her second son who resided in Plymouth and died August 4^th, Charles E. Cahoon. She is survived by her oldest son, Gunnar Cahoon and her daughter, Carol (Roger) Wilcox, as well as stepsons; Roy Cahoon, Wayne Cahoon, Kevin Cahoon, Thomas (Jintana) Cahoon, stepdaughters; Mary Hudkins, and Tammy DaSilva, sisters; Carol Dickerson and Lee (John) Sears and brother, J. Howard Robinson, granddaughters; Clarion Peters-Cahoon and Joslyn Cahoon and soon to be born first great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to join her family at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth for visiting hours for mother and son on Friday, November 25^th from 1:00 to 3:00 P. M. Burial will be private at a later date.

Dear Aunt Susan, you will truly be missed. You always had a special laugh/giggle that was contagious. I know the memories that you created will be cherished in our hearts always. My heart goes out to all of our family members and to all of our friends. Rest in peace....
