Thank you, Barbara's wonderful daughters, for sharing with us the situation of your delightful Mom's passing, so close to 99 years!! She and Paul were such good friends to our Mom and Dad and I, Don, was honored to be in their wedding party!! Sally, our four children, and I visited Barbara and Paul several times, and then -- years later-- Jean and I were so pleased to visit her in her home and when we had a timeshare nearby. Barbara was, indeed, a true inspiration to us ALL and we're most thankful for being able to stay in touch with her for these many years. What a wonderful life she had!! Of course, she'll be missed... With our love, Don & Jean
Our hearts go out to all the Johnsons. Fred and I will miss Barbara. When I was young she made me feel welcome in her home and with her family, especially at the holidays when I could not get home to Pittsburgh. Thanks to Barbara and Paul, I felt like one of the Johnson girls! Later, Fred happily connected with Barbara and especially enjoyed her letters with stories and observations of life on the Cape. Love, Candace and Fred
