Jason A. Davenport

Jason A. Davenport, 42, of Hyannis, MA passed away on May 18 in Hyannis after
a long struggle with drug and alcohol addiction.
Born in Hyannis, MA in 1974, he was the beloved son of James and Christine (Chudy) Davenport.
He attended Nauset Regional High School and obtained his GED through Sylvan Learning.
He was a gifted writer with a kind and gentle soul. His ultimate dream was to work with
his father and brother raising oysters on their East Dennis oyster farm.
He leaves behind his cherished son, Adam Davenport of South Dennis. He is also
survived by his brother Jamie and sister-in-law Melissa Davenport of Scituate, MA
and nephews, Jackson, Maxwell and Rhys. He was the grandson of Carol Chudy and the
late Stanley Chudy of Lancaster, NY and the late Albert and Helen Davenport of
Dennisport, MA. He is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth,
MA on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in South
Dennis, MA.
