My sisters and brothers were fortunate to grow up next door to Marianne and her family in Dedham. Many a night, she would have to stop short of her driveway to remove a tricycle or two left there by her young Buckley neighbors. When our mother would rush out of the kitchen to apologize, Marianne would flash her quick, understanding grin and happily laugh off our territorial transgressions. Not once could one glean from Marianne even a hint that living next door to ten rambunctious youngsters was ever a slight inconvenience. And she drove wicked cool cars. Marianne was a warm and wonderful neighbor. --One of the Buckley's
Our family lived next door in Dedham and have very fond memories of Marianne, and we all just enjoyed reminiscing. She was just plain sweet and had such a lovely smile and nod every morning and evening. We remembered her coming home from work, in what we recalled was her maroon Corvair – and on more than one occasion having to pull a tricycle out of her driveway before she could pull in. The Foleys were great neighbors who we all remember fondly. We are sorry for your loss.
