Jean J. Ciralli, 86, of West Yarmouth, passed away at home, with her daughter and son at her bedside, early Sunday morning on April 24, 2016.
She is survived by her children, John Ciralli, Sr. and wife, Renee, of Great Falls, MT; Linda Ciralli Bruce and husband, Davis, of South Yarmouth; Steven Ciralli of Vero Beach, FL; and Richard Ciralli and wife, Vicki, of Bristol, CT. Her son-in-law, Benigno Haddigan of Stoughton, MA. Her grandchildren, Joey, Brandon, Jenna, John Jr., Alysha, Gina, Shannon, Julianna and great granddaughter Emersen. She is predeceased by her youngest daughter, Carol Ciralli Haddigan, who passed away last September.
Originally born and raised in Evrerett., Jean attended Everett High School and after graduation she attended business college, receiving her degree in accounting. She was employed by Bloombrothers Furniture store. She enjoyed going to local clubs as she had a passion for music and dancing.
In 1966, Jean relocated her family to New Britain CT, where she single handedly raised her 5 children. She worked as an accountant for different companies throughout many years. She was involved in her children’s schools as a committee member on the board of Parents and Teachers Association. She was an avid bridge player. A member of the local ladies’ guild and a member of St. Mary’s Church; later becoming a member of St Maurice Parish.
Once her children were grown, she relocated to Cape Cod in 1984,and was employed by the Cape Cod Board of Realtors until her retirement in 1995. She was an active member of the Professional Women’s Association. Due to her enjoyment of walking, she participated in several walkathons for charity.
A Celebration of Life will held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00AM in Grace Church, 21 Centre Street, Dover, MA.
