Bernadette Rose Vermette, 91, died on March 27, 2025 at home with her family by her side following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on January 12, 1934 in Littleton, New Hampshire to Patrick and Elizabeth Ryan. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Richard H. Vermette.

Bernadette raised four children, while working as a real estate agent at various Yarmouth offices. She enjoyed her weekly bingo with friends.

She is survived by her four children, Ann Marie Fleming and her husband John Nault, Karla McClelland and her husband Peter, Richard R. Vermette and his wife Kim, and John L. Vermette and his wife Heather; seven grandchildren, James Fleming, Kristin Welch and her husband Matthew, Jessica Sullivan, Kyle Vermette, Ryan Vermette and his wife Veronica, Tyler Vermette and his wife Shelley, and Morgan Druckenbrod and her husband Timothy; and five great-grandchildren, Katrina Fleming, Keegan Welch, Colin Welch, Ethan Vermette, and Nolan Druckenbrod.

Burial will be private with a celebration of her life at a later date.
