Johanna Perry
Jan 16th, 2025
Johanna R. Perry, aged 79, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, surrounded by family. Johanna was born in 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. A long-time resident of Cape Cod who loved the ocean and spending time on the beach, Johanna was a loving wife and mother. She cherished her family above all else. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and penchant for sarcasm brought laughter to her loved ones and will be sorely missed.
Johanna graduated high school and earned accreditation as a professional hairdresser. Later she worked for AmEx as a data entry specialist but considered her true calling to be her family. She moved to Dennis and raised two sons as a strong and devoted mother and homemaker who always placed family above all else.
Johanna is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Perry, their son Christopher Perry, daughter-in-law Kathryn Perry, and grandson Calvin Perry, her daughter-in-law Deborah Perry, granddaughter Allyson Perry, her brother Sal Bernardo, and her lifelong best friend, Julia Biscaino. Johanna is predeceased by her son Robert S. Perry, her brother Steve Bernardo, and her parents Stefano and Jennie Bernardo.
Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., Yarmouth, MA. A celebration of Johanna’s life will follow at 11:00am in Hallett Funeral Home.

Bobby and family - Doug and I were deeply saddened by news of Johanna's passing. We will miss all of the good times we shared with you both, Bobby, over the past years. To say "good bye" to someone who was always so full of life falls short - let us say to Johanna, "Til we meet again!" Please stay in touch with all of us in Brewster and Harwich, Bobby. We'll share all of those good stories, and cry together a little, and be smiling at the same time remembering her. See you soon. Lots of Love, Doug and Peggy Erickson
Dearest Bob, Christopher and all that loved Jo-Jo- I can't even begin to tell you how sad I am to read this and regretful that I lost touch over the years. I have countless wonderful memories - beaching, working, morning coffee and playtime for the boys- so many. My heart is broken for you all. May there be comfort in all of the wonderful warm memories that you and so many others have of one hell of a spitfire! With my love and condolences- LindaLou
