Susan, Jane, and Louise - So sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. She was a wonderful role mode and was always so kind. I remember her fondly from Girl Scouts and Colonial Acres, and she made the best whoopie pies! Condolences to you all.
Dear Louise, Susan, Jane and other family members: My heart goes out to each of you with the loss of your lovely Mom. It is a beautiful write up on her life and all she accomplished throughout her amazing years. She truly was an incredible individual and such a strong woman. I'm so thankful she met Ben when she did and they had 42 great years together. I feel blessed to have known her. You all are a wonderful family unit and I have no doubt you will find strength from one another as you manage through the loss of your Mom. I'm thankful she went peacefully in her sleep, but I know too well you are only hoping for one or two or three more days, months or years with her. Her memory and stories will live on. Again, my heart goes out to you all. As I said before, it was wonderful knowing your Mom (aka" Mama Ruth") even though we lived miles away. She was an amazing woman with so many gifts. God Bless You! With Love, Karen and John Loff (Ben's Oldest daughter from his first marriage.)
So sorry for your loss, Jane. Your mom was always so nice to me. I remember having overnights - on school nights! - at your house. She was always so welcoming and kind. You and your sisters were lucky to have one of the great ones. Rest in peace, Mrs. P. ❤️
