Maureen E. (Nagle) Ryan 87 of West Yarmouth died Tuesday February 16, 2016 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich.

She was the wife of the late Kevin J. Ryan.

Born in Charleville, County Cork, Ireland, Mrs. Ryan worked as an xray technician at the United Nations.

Mrs. Ryan is survived by two daughters, Erin Elderkin and her husband, Gene of Yarmouthport, and Deirdre Ambrose and her husband, Doug of Springfield, IL; a sister, Kitty Dundon of Ireland; four grandchildren, Bernadette, Bill, Nicole, and Dylan; two great grandchildren, Adelaide and Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday February 24 in Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 23 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

My most sincere condolences Erin to you and your family. Your Mom was always very good to me. I still treasure the model of the thatched roof Irish house that she gave me so long ago. Peace & Prayers.
