Edward M. Wojnar, 72, of Yarmouth Port, MA, passed away peacefully at The Terraces of Orleans on October 11, 2024.

Ed was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, graduated from Roy Ketchum High School in Wappingers Falls, NY, and State University of New York at Delhi with an Associate Degree in Hospitality. He spent 6 years in the Air Force. His career was in telecommunications, specializing in microwave technology and traveling the world to set up systems. He lived in Durham, North Carolina, before relocating to Yarmouth Port, MA, to care for his mother who recently passed away. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed music.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward J. and Yvonne (Godbout) Wojnar. He is survived by his brother Joseph and his wife JoAnn of Horseheads, NY, and their three children: Jennifer Wojnar of Los Angeles, CA, Michelle Broadhurst and her husband Gary of Penn Yan, NY, with their two boys Michael and Jackson, and Allison Wojnar of Horseheads, NY.

The family would like to thank Cape Cod Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, The Terraces of Orleans, and Continuum Hospice & Palliative Care for their compassionate care. A private burial will be held at Chandler Gray Cemetery.
