Paul R. F. Wild
Aug 11th, 2024
Paul R.F. Wild passed away at home On August 11th, 2024, at the age of 77.
Paul was a beloved member of the Wild family, a loyal friend, and held deep passions for theatre, the arts, and the natural beauty of the world (especially the ocean!). A consummate and effortless storyteller, Paul created magic out of the spoken word, was sharp as a tack, and made every tale he told seem as vivid and as real as though it were happening right in front of you. His wicked sense of humor often left others in stitches.
A responsible and productive man, he spent his life serving others as a Contracts and Customer Service Manager for Elder Services of Cape Cod. After retiring, he worked hard on the board of trustees for his condominium association. Paul was also incredibly creative. In his younger days he worked as a singing waiter at the Camelot Lounge. Later in life, he delighted Cape Cod audiences with his community theater performances.
Paul loved listening to opera, reading, collecting model cars, and lounging in his well-tended garden. His departure from this world is mourned by his cherished nieces and nephews (Allison, Christina, Hope, Melissa, Tigran, Tyler, and Valentina), his brother and sister (Ben and Patricia), and his close friends. Paul was predeceased by his sister Deborah.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable contribution in Paul’s name to one of his favorite charities: Doctors Without Borders or Habitat for Humanity.
