I have wonderful memories of holiday celebrations at BetteLous house, with Dorsie, Weezie , and Sean. They all had this drink called a “stinger”, which they drank many….. I had a sip and my lips went numb… I will miss Dorsie….he was a kind person….a good person…..a funny person …..who was always glad to see you…. God Bless

Dorsie and I crossed paths many enjoyable times over the years. We shared roots in Dorchester and many a wonderful story from our Dorchester neighborhoods to Plymouth and eventually to Yarmouth. Dorsie had a wonderful way about him that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Sincere condolences to a great lady and wife Louise, his children and his abundance of friends. Rest in Peace good man so loved. Thank you so very much for your friendship! Rich Cohane

So many good times at Dorsie's. Was a fun place to start with a drink before the *nightclubs* in town got going. Then they had their own music so fun place to go anytime. FABULOUS BARTENDERS!!! Along of course with a great steak and fabulous salad bar. Thanks for the memories, Dorsie!
