Lori Ellen Gulliver of Yarmouth Port, MA passed away on July 2, 2024 at the age of 65.  Lori was born in Easton, PA to Jeannie Grolljahn and Jack Gulliver.  She grew up in Danbury, CT and attended college at Syracuse University.  Following college she relocated to the Boston area where she worked and enjoyed summers on Cape Cod for many years.  She and her husband spent 18 years in the Chicago area and relocated to Cape Cod in 2018.  She was an avid lover of the outdoors, travel, meeting new friends and dogs.  Her unique personality had an impact on all around her.  Anyone who knew her would point to her shining positivity, love of life and infectious laughter.  She will be greatly missed by all.
 
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Smith, her step-son, Cole Smith, and her two beloved dogs, Whiskey and Sydney.

Dear Greg, I will always remember the first time that you and Laurie came to see me. Aware of her condition, I was struck by her positivity and joie de vie. I was saddened for both of you when the cancer returned, but prayed for remission, which sadly wasn’t to be. My sympathy is with you. “ those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear”.
