The 3 of us Just heard about John's passing. So sad to hear that. Spent a lot of great times with the Connell brothers in So. Weymouth growing up with them in the same neighborhood. Too many great times to list, but almost all of it was centered around sports. Whatever sports season it was in a given year, we all played it together, usually at Nash School's fields, basketball courts or in the gym. When the pond froze, we skated and played hockey. we even threw darts in the Connell residences' mudroom. and sometimes John and Mike would forgo the dart board and use Tom or Dave as THE dartboard. The brother's spats / wrestling matches were legendary. John was a very special person. A good heart, a loyal friend and an excellent athlete. We were very lucky to have known him and to call him a good friend. Our sincerest condolences - Tom Melanson, John Cooney and Mark Pinnetti
