Edward (Ed) Blank, Jr., 93, of West Yarmouth, MA. passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024, at the Cape Cod Hospital.

Ed was born in Plainville, CT, to Edward Blank and Elvina D’Agostino on February 14, 1931.

He graduated from Plainville High School in 1952. Ed went on to earn a degree in History from Trinity College in 1956. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force until 1967. He was a successful businessman and traveled extensively. But above all, Ed was a family man who enjoyed golfing, skiing, fishing, gardening, birdwatching and crossword puzzles.

Ed is survived by his spouse of 55 years Kathryn, sons Edward (Ace) Blank, III of Boston, MA, John Hanright, Jr. of Barnstable, MA, Thomas Hanright of Franklin, NH, Robert Hanright of Hooksett, NH and daughter Nancy Blank of East Falmouth, MA and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Elvina and sons, John Armour Blank and Robert Blank.

A private burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
