Janet Francis (Cobb) Farrenkopf passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 93. Janet was born in Hyannis, MA on July 23, 1930 to Pierce and Ruth (Bassett) Cobb.  She was the wife of Richard R. Farrenkopf Sr. who predeceased her in 2011.
 
Janet was a lifelong Cape Codder. After raising her family, she worked may years for Hy-Line Cruises; she especially enjoyed talking with all the travelers. She loved animals, going to the beach, maintaining her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, spending winters in Florida with her late husband Richard and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
 
Janet is survived by her six children: Bonnie, Richard Jr. and his wife Cynthia, Craig and his wife Joan, Gary, Eric and his wife Cheryl, Kent and his wife Kellie, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her brother Thomas Miller.  She is predeceased by her brothers Richard and Donald Cobb.
 
Services will be private.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, 3981 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631.
