Yarmouth Port: Stanley F. Ellis. With great sadness we announce that Stanley F. Ellis, 91, of Yarmouth Port, MA passed away on Feb. 11th, 2024 at the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.

Stanley was born in Lowell, MA on Dec. 30th, 1932 to Stanley W. Ellis and Mary F. (Holt) Ellis. He graduated from Tufts University with a BS in Physics in 1954 and then served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as General Superintendent at Cape Cod Gas Company, then later worked as the Oil and Gas Department Manager at Snows of Orleans. He served on the Yarmouth Town Finance Committee. He was also active in the local Boy Scout Troop and in local youth sports.

Stanley was predeceased by his parents and his brother Robert Ellis. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Sylvia) Ellis, sons Brian F. Ellis and wife Kelly of North Kingstown, RI and Greg S. Ellis and wife Jenni of St. Petersburg, FL and his grandson Samuel Ellis, granddaughter Sylvia Ellis, and step-granddaughter Gabriela Almeida.
