Paul Michael Forrest
Jan 3rd, 2024
Hyannis, MA – Paul Michael “Mike” Forrest entered God’s Kingdom on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Mike was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 19, 1959. His family later moved to Marlborough, MA. After attending Marlborough High School, he welcomed his first daughter in 1977 and later joined the Marines. Mike’s time in the miliary took him around the world including time in Japan.
After leaving the military, Mike began an illustrious career in sales. He could literally sell anything to anyone with his witty charm, kind eyes and Cheshire grin.
Mike married his wife Bamby in 1991, and his youngest daughter was born a year later. They spent most of their time in Central, MA and later moved to Cape Cod.
He was most joyful when he was surrounded by his beautiful wife and two daughters, on the golf course, at the beach and gathering around the table with family and friends.
Mike had a gracious and generous spirit and showed hospitality to everyone he encountered. He never met a stranger. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, dear friend and an incredible role model and mentor to his nieces and nephews.
He was a man of great faith and incredible strength. Mike took great comfort in God’s promises of eternal life and restoration as he courageously battled significant health challenges in recent years.
One of his favorite scriptures was Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Mike is survived by his wife Bamby of West Dennis; daughter Crystal (Tom) Schaad of Norfolk, VA; daughter Caitlin Forrest of McLean, VA; his parents Pat Forrest and Edie Bennett of West Dennis; Mike also leaves behind three siblings Darcy Forrest of Stuart, FL; Kellie Collins of Boston, MA; and Kevin Forrest of Frye, ME; many nieces and nephews; and the mother of his eldest daughter, Lauren Cameron.
A celebration of life will be held this Spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to his daughter Caitlin’s Boston Marathon run with Team Hoyt to raise funds for children with disabilities.

The world won't be the same without you. It was a better place with you in it. I looked up to you so much when I was little and that part of my childhood can never be lost. Your departure has left a void that can never be filled
Such a great guy and oh that face and that smile! I will remember you always! Xoxo
Our hearts are broken in the loss of our dear nephew Michael. He was the first of the next generation in our family. Mike is away from all the pain and suffering in a much better place. We will miss him and never forget him.
