Robert "Bo" Morahan
Dec 19th, 2023
Robert "Bo" Morahan, 78, of E. Dennis, MA, passed away on December 19, 2023. He is preceded in death by his late mother, Ethel, and father, Edmund Morahan.
Robert graduated from Watertown High in 1963, followed by Burdett Business School. Afterward, Robert served active duty in the National Guard for one year during the Vietnam War and six years inactive. After the war, he married his high school sweetheart, celebrating 57 years of marriage together last May. Everyone would describe Bo as a "happy guy." A day never went by when he didn't make someone laugh; every spring, he would say, "Tulips are better than no lips!"
Robert was an entrepreneur and wholesaler. He and his wife were owners of Hunters Apparel. He had a love for golf and spent his days at Brae Burn Country Club and the Hyannisport Club. Robert loved his family and his grandchildren more than anything. He adored his two daughters, Jen and Kim. He loved watching his grandchildren play their sports, and he was extremely proud of their accomplishments.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edmund. Surviving, in addition to his loving wife, Joyce, are his daughter Jen Morahan and John Tyler Spring; daughter Kim and Anthony Baroni; sister-in-law Pat Morahan; grandchildren Lily, Charlie, Chad, Penny, and Harry.
A funeral service will be held at Dennis Union Church 713 Main St, Dennis, MA on Friday, December 29, at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741
