Doris Marion (Mason) Horton, 101, passed away on May 26, 2023. Born in 1922 to Grace Maud (Spencer) Mason and Frederick Leroy Mason, was proud to be a Cape Codder. Doris worked for 27 years as a CNA before retiring at the age of 80.

She was married to the late Robert William Horton and was a loving mother to Wendy Horton-Leigh, Kerry Horton Donovan, and Robert William Horton, Jr. Alongside her children, she is survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sister-in-law Phyllis Horton, her beloved niece Karen Fraher, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws.

A graveside service in her honor will be held at Swan Lake Cemetery, Depot Street, Dennis, MA on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 2pm.In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ memory can be made to the MSPCA,1577 Falmouth Rd, Centerville, MA 02632.
