Joan D. (Johnson) Cook of West Yarmouth passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 80. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Cook Jr. who passed away in 2007.  Born in Brockton, MA she was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. and Edith R. (Pike) Johnson.
 
Joan graduated from Whitman Hanson Regional High School in Hanson, MA and worked for Bradlees Department Store for over 20 years.  She enjoyed many years of camping with her family and friends.
 
She is survived by three loving daughters, Robin L. Chadwick of West Yarmouth, Deborah J. Charte of Manchester, NH and Amy S. Cook of Merrimack, NH, her sister, Brenda Clark and her husband, Donald of Litchfield, NH., and was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Judith A. Locke.
 
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a celebration of life on January 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the West Yarmouth Congregational Church, Route 28, West Yarmouth, MA 02673.
