Gordon C. Garfield, 89, passed away on December 4. 2022. “Bud” the son of Richard and Frances (Gardner) Rudden died peacefully at his apartment at Mill Hill Residence in West Yarmouth, MA.  He is survived by his sister, Phyllis, of Sandy Point, ME and two nephews, Richard Armeson of West Yarmouth and Kent Armeson of Charleston, SC.
 
Bud served in the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s and was stationed in Germany for the majority of his service.  He later managed a movie theatre for many years while living in Brockton, MA before retiring to his home in South Yarmouth.  In his earlier years he was a lifeguard and enjoyed boating and spending time on the water in and around Cape Cod.
 
He will be missed by his family and friends. 
 
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 12:00 O’clock noon in Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton, MA.
