Nancy A. (Waldron) Lamoureux
Apr 15th, 2022
Nancy A. (Waldron) Lamoureux 85 of South Dennis died peacefully Friday April 15, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was the wife of the late Donald P. Lamoureux, who died in 2020. They had been married for 61 wonderful years.
Born in Gloucester and raised in Rochdale, Nancy was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Georgiana (Dragon) Waldron. She graduated from St Peters High School in Worcester in 1955 and received her associates degree from Becker College.
Nancy was a legal secretary, a librarian in the Amherst School District, and a homemaker. She loved to read, attend the theater, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was an active member at St. Brigid’s Church in Amherst, and at Holy Trinity Church in West Harwich.
Everyone who met her, loved her. She was kindhearted and caring. She was the epitome of grace.
Nancy and Don were a true Air Force family before settling down to raise their children in Amherst MA. They spent many joyous summers in Wells, ME surrounded by extended family and eventually moved to Cape Cod in 1982.
Nancy is survived by two sons, James and his wife, Deborah of Temecula, CA, and John of Quincy; three daughters, Kathleen Craig and her husband, Kevin of Hyannis, Donna Papadinoff and her husband, John of Medfield, and Patricia Lamoureux of Quincy; and seven grandchildren, Sarah and Kevin Craig, Jacob and Garrett Lamoureux, and Jack, Alexander, and Theo Papadinoff; and two sisters in-law, June and Lyn Waldron. In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was predeceased by three brothers, James, and Thomas Waldron, and Robert Waldron and his wife, Suzanne.
Her strong convictions and faith within the Catholic Church gave her inspiration and was evident in all she did and inspired those around her. She is truly one of God’s own, and now rests with Him surrounded by Don and her family that preceded her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday May 5 in Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main St., West Harwich, MA 02671.

This was a beautifully written tribute to a truly beautiful person. She will be forever fondly remembered by all of us.
Whenever I am missing Nancy, I also remember how fortunate I was that you were in my life. I wouldn't trade those moments for the world. If I had a flower for every time I thought of you. I could walk in my own garden forever. Say hello to Don for me. XO
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was always one of my favorite people. I'm sorry I didn't get to the Cape to see her before her passing. Love to you all. Lynn McCarroll
No words can express my feelings. I love you all so much.
