Feb 10th, 2022
Palmer Townsend “P.T.” Wolf, 75 of West Dennis passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was the husband of Nancy Lee (Tozier) Wolf. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William Taft and Jane (Rice) Wolf.
P.T. served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and as a C-130 Crew Chief he was stationed in the Philippines. Following his discharge he moved to Dennis where he began a home improvement business, “Services Unlimited”. He took great pride in his mechanical abilities and knowing how to figure out how things worked.
P.T. was “one of a kind”. With a private pilot’s license he would fly friends to Nantucket for lunch. He owned several boats and loved his Norton motorcycle. Cats and dogs gravitated to him, regardless of where he was. And then, there was the “Olive Trick”.
In addition to his wife, P.T. is survived by two step-grandchildren: Gary Clinch and Mariah Eaton. Also surviving are his brothers: William Taft, Jr. and his wife, Jo, Rice Crocker and his wife, Nancy, and Theodore Packard and his wife, Kristine, as well as his sister-in-law, Sandra and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Timothy Sears Wolf.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 25 at 1:15 P.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA for immediate family and close friends. A celebration of his life will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Pete’s Point Tavern, South Dennis, MA for those who are able to attend.
Contributions in P.T.’s memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, 3981 Main St., Brewster, MA 02631.
