Robert P. "Bob" Juliano, 82, most recently of Dennis Port, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 31 at Cape Cod Hospital.  Bob was the son of the late Robert and Esther (O'Donnell) Juliano of Waltham.  He was the husband of over 60 years to the late Maxine (Sleczkowski) Juliano, who predeceased him in November 2019.  Bob leaves behind his two sons, Christopher and his dear friend, Bernadette Rivard, both of Bellingham, Mark of Dennis Port, his daughter, Jennifer of Westborough, and a grandson, Dylan Evans, also of Westborough.

 Born and raised in Watertown, Bob was a 1957 graduate of Watertown High and attended Carnegie Institute.  He and his wife raised their family in Hudson and Southborough, MA before retiring to a family home in Dennis Port.  His early career days included Emerson Hospital, Boston Medical Laboratory, and Clinical Science Laboratory. Bob later became Laboratory Director of Harvard Community Health Plan in Cambridge where he worked for several years. In 1983, he founded Environmental Science Laboratory in Medway, now known as Accustar, that specialized in lead, water, and radon testing.  Bob was well-recognized and respected in his field before retiring to work with his wife in her business, Puzzles, Toys, and More.   

During his over 35 years in Southborough, Bob was an active member of multiple town committees, including the Southborough Library Building Committee, the Advisory Board, Southborough Business Association, Southborough Little League Baseball, among others. 
Always eager to serve his community, he also served on the AmeriCorp, was active in the Dennis Chamber of Commerce, and Dennis Port Revitalization Committee, to name a few.

Both introverted and friendly, Bob was well-known for his intelligence, quick wit and dry humor.  He enjoyed photography, spending time with family, his cat, Mikey, reading, space studies, and poetry, often quoting from Desiderata and Invictus.   Those who knew him have fond memories of him being fair, funny, and hardworking and will be forever missed.

 A dual Celebration of Life for both Bob and Maxine will be held at the Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak Street, Medway on Friday, March 18 at 6:30 PM,  which would have been their 61st wedding anniversary   All who would like to pay their respects and share memories are welcome.
