Jennie Rose Cadarette, 97, of West Yarmouth, MA passed away at home on Monday, November 15, 2021. She was born in Becket, MA to Stephen Laskoski and Antonette Matszewski. She grew up and attended school in Erving, MA.

She married Walter Cadarette on July 12, 1944 and after the war they settled in Warwick, MA. Her husband passed away in January of 1972 after 28 years of marriage. In 1963 she began working at Erving Industries in Erving, MA, then Brattleboro, VT, before retiring in 1986. She moved from Warwick, MA to Brattleboro, VT in 2007, then in 2016 she moved into her daughter’s home in West Yarmouth, MA.

Jennie enjoyed crocheting and won blue ribbons at the Tunbridge Worlds Fair and Franklin County Fair for many of her creations. She also enjoyed, cooking, gardening, reading and working on jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her three children; Antoinette (Ann) Piontek of West Yarmouth, MA, Joseph Cadarette and his wife Sherry of Vergennes, VT, Janet Cadarette of California; her granddaughter Tracy Cadarette of Cornish, NH and three nephews and seven nieces. Jennie was predeceased by her sisters Alice Sceposki and Bertha Cadarette, and her brothers Stanley, Joseph, and John Laskoski. There will be no services at this time.

In accordance with her wishes, there will a celebration of her life in the spring of 2022 and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we would ask those who wish to make a donation in her name, to consider doing so through Broad Reach Hospice, 390 Orleans Rd, North Chatham, MA 02650.
