The Beautiful, inspiring, brave and bold Deborah “Deb” Stone Trippier died Saturday November 6th in Yarmouth Port after a 3 year battle with breast cancer, at the age of 60.

She was the wife of Joel M. Trippier. They had been married for 32 years.

Born in Boston, Deb was the daughter of Francis Stone of South Yarmouth and the late Kathleen (Connolly) Stone.  She was a graduate of Wilmington High School and Bridgewater State University where she received a BA in Elementary Education. Like many college graduates, Deb chose not to work in the field she majored in, but entered the business world as a precocious young sales representative.

Armed with the power of persuasion and intrinsic motivation she achieved every goal she set for herself and created a life for her family that she had always dreamed of. Although Deb never taught in a classroom, she never truly stopped teaching. Everyone who knew Deb, learned from Deb and these are a few of her most valuable lessons.

“Build the ladder on the way down” - Take risks, be bold and know that it is okay to not have all the answers.

“Live your best life” - Do what makes you happy every day, time is precious, cherish it.

“You create the results in life that you believe you deserve - Work hard at everything you do and know that your best effort is good enough.

“It is easier to beg forgiveness than to seek permission” - Act quickly and decisively. Do not look to others for approval, trust your judgement.

Deborah Stone Trippier was so many things to so many people. She was a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a wife, a friend, a business woman, but to all that knew her, she was an inspiration and she will be dearly missed.

In addition to her husband, Deb is survived by a son, Phillip of Dennis Port; two daughters, Taylor Baldwin and her husband, Ben of Duxbury, and Nicole Trippier of Manchester, NH; two sisters, Nancy Brown of Billerica, and Kathleen Sincebaugh of Orlando, FL; and one grandchild, Harper Baldwin.

A celebration of Deb’s life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday November 19 in the Borsari Gallery, 524 Main St., Dennis, MA 02638.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to We Can, 783 Route 28, Harwich Port, MA 02646, www.wecancenter.org.

My dearest Nicole and family I know there are no words that can make you feel better during this unbearable pain. Just know that she isn’t suffering anymore. I know that should be comforting somehow but still isn’t. Although I am far away know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do for you, all you have to do is ask. Thinking of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My Dearest Deb who I will miss for years on end. She was the most unique, wonderful, funny, charismatic, intelligent, made my day, kind of girl. What an inspiration she was to so many people! When Deb told me she was not going to make it, I simply couldn't believe it because she was so upbeat. "I'm living my best life until I can't." I don't believe I've ever known anyone like this in my life. We were friends in business for years and the best of friends. My heart goes out to all of her family since this will be the most difficult for them. She was that once in a lifetime special person on this earth. She must be spreading her "sparkle" in heaven now and look forward to the day when I see her again. My entire family, my husband Ken, Kimberly, Jamie, Kyle and Abbie, all experienced her amazing self! Thank you Deb for being in all our lives!

Oh Joel! My heart goes out to you and your family. I know nothing can ease the shock and pain you must feel. Deb was one of those special stars ... always shining, positive, laughing... absolutely intoxicating to be around. Some of the best times of my life were laughing and singing with Deb. I always thought we'd have more time together and will always love you, Deb. ❤️
