Bruce Pickard Bonner, 76, of Dennis, MA, formerly of Arlington, MA, passed away on October 9, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer. Bruce was born in Cambridge, MA he was the son of the late John and Marian (Pickard) Bonner.

After graduating from Arlington High School, he attended Boston University, until he left to serve his country in West Germany during the Vietnam War. After his return, Bruce resumed working for the family business, Bonner & Puritan, in Cambridge, until his retirement. As one of the four Bonner boys, some of his favorite memories were those of the many summers in Dennis, spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his brother, Arthur William Bonner of Beverly, MA, sister-in-law Alene Bonner of Waltham, MA, sister-in-law Joy Bonner of Concord, MA, nephew John Bonner (Cathy) of Dedham, MA, and nieces Lisa Haines (Dan) of Concord, MA, Christine Burns (Mark) of Dover, MA, Jennifer Stevens (Gregg) of Concord, NC, Cathleen Bonner (Rob) of Seattle WA, and Jessica Bell (Charles) of Nashua, NH, his great-nieces and great-nephew, as well as his lifelong friends Bob and Donna Metafora of Dover, MA, and Rick and Gini Welch of Dennis, MA, all of whom will miss his gentle and kind spirit. He is predeceased by his brothers, John Robert Bonner and Barry Craig Bonner, as well as his sister-in-law Joan Bonner.

A private burial will be held at a later.
