His favorite activity was spending time with his family.  He had “girls lunch”on Mondays, “ brothers lunch” on Fridays at his favorite place, The Skipper, and "Grampie time" with Shannon and TJ.   Family was always first.

I had the distinct privilege of working with Dick both as a Court Officer and Hyannisport security. Dick was a man of great character and definitely possessed the gift of gab. He was always read to tell a tale and working “overnights” at Hyannisport he related to me quite a few. I will miss those stories and that grin of his. Rest well Richard, you will be missed.

Sending our sympathies and prayers to Dick’s family and all the Quirk siblings. I remember Dickie as a teenager in the Summer of 1960. When I saw him at Judy Fagan’s funeral so many years later, I realized he hadn’t really changed - same larger than life personality, but with even better stories! Condolences to all of you on such a sad loss of your husband, Father, granddad, and brother.
