Paul Camille LeBlanc, 91 of Dennis Port, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully after a long illness. A loving father, grandfather and husband of 64 years to Martha (Geary) LeBlanc of Norwood, he will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Paul was born February 9, 1930, in Center Moriches, Long Island, NY to Harold and Lorraine LeBlanc. He was a long time resident of Cape Cod after retirement. He proudly served this country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and saw combat in the Inchon invasion, Koto-Ri Breakout and the evacuation of Hung Nam.
He was a graduate of Northeastern University and was last employed for 20 years until his retirement as a successful marketing and sales professional at CRANE & Company of Dalton, MA in the innovative “non-woven” paper industry.
Paul particularly enjoyed sharing time with his large extended family on Cape Cod, as well as traveling with Martha, theater, a good game of scrabble, and watching the Red Sox break “the curse” in 2004. He was an avid reader and developed a talent for oil painting landscapes.
A devoted father, Paul will be missed by; his family, including Lorraine Estrada and Horacio of Charlotte, NC, Stephen LeBlanc and Deanna of Stafford, VA, Christopher LeBlanc and Nancy of Richmond, VA, Paul D. LeBlanc and Debra of Halfmoon, NY, Michele LeBlanc and William Owens of Ballston Spa, NY, Amy LeBlanc of Red Hook, NY. He is also survived by his brother, Harvey LeBlanc and Patricia of Norwood, as well as 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Wednesday, August 4 from 5-7 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 5 at 10 A.M. in Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA. The interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA will be Thursday at 2:30 P.M.
