Elizabeth Evelyn (Barr) Ebersole passed away on March 2, 2025. She was always known as Betty.

She was born October 23, 1943. Betty was predeceased by her mother, father and sister Evelyn Yursits.

Elizabeth is survived by sisters Mary King and Linda Plantinga and brothers Gilbert and Alan Barr, brothers-in-law Jim Yursits and Joe King, sisters-in-law Ruth and Arlene Barr, nieces: Linda, Lori, Colleen, Jennifer, Kim and Meeghan, nephews Adam and Gary.

The nieces and nephews loved talking to Betty and always said she was funny and fun to be around. Betty loved animals of all kinds, cooking and she would make cakes and decorate them so beautifully. She also liked golfing and missed it when she became sick.

The family would like to thank the Liberty Commons in Chatham and all the wonderful nurses and aides who were so loving to Betty. She always called them God's angels. Special thanks to Phyllis, who always stopped at her door and waved when Betty was so sick.
