Robert B. “Bruce” Kilroy, 83, of South Yarmouth, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born in Boston, MA, on July 12, 1941, Bruce was the beloved son of the late Anthony F. Kilroy and Marjorie (Harkins) Kilroy. He was educated at Brighton High School and later attended Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, CA.

Bruce proudly served his country in the National Guard. He went on to build a distinguished career as a contract administrator for the military division of Entwistle Company in Hudson, MA from which he retired.

Devoted to his family, Bruce shared 57 cherished years of marriage with his loving wife, Joan (Caruso) Kilroy. In addition to his wife, Bruce is survived by his daughter Kathleen Joy Sullivan ( Kevin), his siblings Geraldine Corey, Judith O’Brien, Marjorie Joy Foster (Alex) and Edward Kilroy (Mary Ann) and his two adoring grandchildren, Samantha Marshall and her husband Colton and Zachary Sullivan. Bruce was predeceased by his beloved son Robert B. Kilroy, Jr.

He found great joy in life through his deep love for his family and the beauty of Cape Cod, a place he held close to his heart.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius X Church, Station Ave South Yarmouth, MA on Monday March 31 at 10 am. Visiting hours in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave, South Yarmouth on Sunday March 30 from 2-4 pm. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Yarmouth Port, MA.
